Teresa-Maria is a licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Teresa-Maria attended Seneca College where she successfully completed both programs in Office Legal Administration and Paralegal. Teresa-Maria continues to advance her legal education in order to obtain professional accreditation with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO).
Teresa-Maria has gained valuable and extensive administration and operations experience within the Top 5 financial institutions in Ontario which has enabled her to assist clients efficiently and effectively while recognizing and addressing relevant issues. Teresa-Maria completed her field placement in the Ontario Court of Justice - Provincial Offences with the prosecution team which gave her unique exposure to experience all aspects of court proceedings, both in the courtroom and in discovery examination which has contributed to her legal foundation.
Presently at Carr Law, Teresa handles disputes arising out of liens, negligence, contracts, bailment, environmental issues, consumer protection, fraud, property damage, subrogation, collections and bylaws/licensing/zoning issues.
