Ljusi (Lusi) Brace focuses her law practice on immigration, criminal defence, highway traffic matters and provincial offences. Ms. Brace has experience representing clients and assisting senior counsel in all areas of Canadian criminal law in both Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. She is also efficient in representing clients in all areas of Canadian citizenship and immigration law such as work permits, study permits, visitor visas, family class applications and permanent residence applications. Ms. Brace provides services in English, Albanian and Italian. She firmly believes in the importance of accessing legal aid, ensuring justice is served and maintaining the public’s trust in the Canadian justice system.
Prior to embarking on her career in law, Ms. Brace worked as an English teacher for over five years. She developed and delivered English lessons to enhance her students’ personal and professional goals and plan next steps for their learning.
Ms. Brace is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Criminal Lawyers’ Association and Ontario College of Teachers. She is also a Notary Public in Ontario.
