Hirad is an Articling Student at Carr Law, with prior experience in insurance litigation as a student during, and after law school.
Hirad completed his LL.B from the University of Kent in Canterbury, United Kingdom. While there, he showed a keen personal interest in Civil Litigation, Torts, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. During his time at Kent, he competed in national Negotiation and Mediation competitions, as well as mock trials; where he received the Clement-Walker Prize for Mediation.
Prior to law school, Hirad studied Law and Society at York University, where he received his Honours in Bachelor of Arts.
Hirad aims to focus his future practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Cannabis Law (licensing and litigation), and Taxation for domestic manufacturers.
During his spare time, Hirad enjoys spending time with his two dogs Kai and Blu. He is a major “foodie” and will happily take any recommendations.
